The Internet-Less People To Yell At (Or Let’s Start Yelling At The Right People!)

[In my effort never to write another substantial blog post, I give todays duties to Howard Lindzon. He's the hedge fund manager who's almost always right about money matters and is entertaining to boot. Since most of my readers are really into the internet Howard put together a post just for us.]
Judging by the way the “nerds” (my term for all the people that seek TechMeme listings) are biiitching about Google these days, you would think that Google has somehow let the world down with the way it is helping build out the Internet.
Do these three dudes look capable of that.

Listen, no doubt I won’t be looking to party with these kool kats, but holding them to this China thing? Is it not fun watching Microsoft all freaked out?
Here’s a good reminder of what you need to keep in perspective about the good people of Googledom – from Michael Parekh.
Me – I just want to hug them – after Larry gets his teeth cleaned (Note to larry – they should never match the shirt color).
Let’s put some things in INTERNET perspective here:
What about this character -

Hey Steve – What have you done for us lately?
Microsoft Live? How about Microsoft “dead” for what shareholders will be before this stock rises again. Better yet “dead” for all the people that died, waiting for “Live”
What about these two swingers -

If it was up to them, and I guess it could be soon, I would have to phone a 1-800 line to hear Chartreuse (Actually, he would make more money than AdSense, but I digress)!
While we are internet bashing with the “nerds”, can we just go back to the sweet old days of travel agents and stockbrokers. Oh the joy!

In case you don’t remember, this is the side of the Bull you see if you listen to the “Old Wall Street”.
With these guys at least you get screwed for less!

Heck, if we hurry and get this internet stuff stopped, we can keep using real estate agents for 6 percent – AWESOME.
I mean, F@#ck Zillow – aren’t they using Google!

Hey Howard, I found an interesting article. Your hedge fund has 10 million under management, now that makes about… an obscene amount of money per year.

Cool post. But what about some stock advice? I have $1000.00 (if I don’t pay my rent!).

Nicely done howard, it’s easy to get distracted so it’s good to get a reminder of what the important things are.
