There is no question that this business is becoming multi-media. Gawker Media is now adding video to there offerings.

How much longer before you can get Gawker on your cellphone?

How long before they start offering it to targeted veiwers on Tivo?

And how long is it going to take you to realize that this blog network business is really just a rest stop for you entering the internet media network business?

Absolutely. I have fallen into the trap of calling ‘us’ a blog network, even though I never used that term to begin with. Though we’re currently made up of blog-based sites, that’s not a requisite, and I like to think of the network as being wider than blogs – for a start it somewhat future-proofs us (if only in terms of definitions)

I came across your blog today and have become an immediate fan. So many of the things you are advocating resonate well with me and what we are trying to do with Know More Media.

We have to keep reminding ourselves that we are not just a business blogging network (which we are) but that we are really a business media company. We need to be able to provide content in what ever form our audience desires it. This mindset will have all sort of implications in what decisions we make going forward.
