Wanna Know What Advertisers Want?

Heather Green (yeah, the chick who said there isn’t a huge amount of money to be made in podcasting) of cool-ass Blogspotting has a podcast you should listen to.

She talks to Mohan Renganathan, associate group director for New York City ad agency MediaVest Worldwide.

He discusses how he’s helping marketers navigate the world of online media and the exploding number of options that now exist.

That includes podcasts, online videos, video blogs, and social networks.

He explains how advertisers are trying to adjust to the way people want to play around with content and what advertisers are looking for in user-generated content.

Interesting Stuff.

    Cool.

This poet needs a damn camera… and an eBay account.

    Or maybe just better poems…

  2. Char,
haha thats funny that heather green has a podcast. ah people make me laugh. rich media as a platform for marketing is really in its infancy, and people need to realize this.
If it was mature already, then it wouldn’t be as exciting, and no one would be talking about it as much.
anyway, keep up the good writing, i need to seriously blog some more.

Maybe I’ve been in a cave… but what do you have going on over there at Castvertising Brian?

  4. Heather Green Says:

Howdy and, er, thanks for the mention. Seriously, though, glad you like the podcast. I really enjoy reading your blog. (Love the use of pictures!). And I am with Brian that what’s interesting about all the new media is that it’s an unknown.
