The Google Hasselhoff Techmeme Calacanis YouTube Sloppy Venezuela Remix
As long as you’re here…
PayPerPost matters because it monetizes regular people’s opinions. Just like Ebay monetized people’s junk. Some women in the burbs making an extra 20 bucks this week because she wrote about Campbell’s new Sloppy Joe mix is not a bad thing. No matter what Calacanis says.
A quick note to those advertising on Techmeme. Change your ad everyday. O.K.? If I have to explain why, you shouldn’t be advertising there.
The music business is soooo dead. Tower records is blaming digital downloads for their demise. (BugMeNot password) They are wrong. For some reason Starbucks can make money selling CDs. You know why? Because they are actually selling a lifestyle. Tower records could not decide on a lifestyle to sell so the public killed them.
Jesse has decided that he wants to report on what’s going on in Venezuela. So he put an ad up on Craigslist. How cool is that?
I can’t confirm if Google is serious about buying YouTube but they are really getting serious about video ad sales.
