    Powerful, in true Char style.

    I liked this post Chartreuse. You have a unique way of saying something without actually saying it. It’s obvious that, as a country, we do not value the life of African-American men. This case was a prime example of that. If a young man in my neighborhood would have been “popped” 50 times by the police, heads would roll. Especially with the wedding day aspect of the story. The fact that the community has shown such restraint says a lot. The fact that the police will receive no punishment says a lot too.

    Here is the issue I see with your post Char. You didn’t sit through the whole trial. The information you based your blog on was provided from media people who also didn’t sit through the whole trial. They ask a few questions before, during or after, or at most they’ll sit in the gallery for a hour or so. Then they go back to their computers and write their stories.

    Those who rely on media coverage rather than their own investigation for an understanding of what really happened do so at their own peril.

    And the situation is mutual. I’m in no position to tell you what really happened or why. You have to sit through the trial.

    @AC Law,

    There was no commentary in the post. I just attempted to show what no one in the trial denied. 50 shots were fired at an unarmed Black guy. But thanks for your views. They are always appreciated.

    Brilliant work my man!
