The Gia Carangi Guide To Life (Or The Technorati Train To Nowhere)

Few things kick ass like the past.

The cars were better. The air was better. The girls were prettier.

Things were…cool.

But things fall apart.

Ask Sifry.

News of the Technorati bloodletting seemed to come as a shock for some folks. But not many.

Anyone who has been really watching the space saw the train of irrelevance coming.

What exactly does Technorati do, again?

As blogs evolved and became actually the new big media, Sifry had a chance to lead. Except he didn’t have a vision.

I take that back.

He didn’t have a big enough vision.

Sifry built something cool and then was swallowed by it’s impact. He had no idea what to do next.

But don’t feel sorry for him.

Some of us are never beautiful at all.
